But Mr. Maxwell has the feeling he wants to get rid of Mark, so he is about to send him home but realizes that he had not really done anything bad. So, he is about to call Mark, but he isn't there. Well, Mark is in the woods by himself running away. Read and see what will happen to Mark.

Every weekend, someone takes Humphrey home. This time, Garth and Golden Meranda takes him home. At Garths' house, he meets Natalie the babysitter, and at Meranda's house, she meets her step sister Abby who does not like Meranda. But, Humphrey helps them get along.

A the end, Aldo the custosdian (humphrey's friend) decides to be a teacher and also, He, Humphrey gets along with Og the Frog and Og saves Humphrey and helps him solves other kid's problems b warning him that it is the end of recess. (This book also has quotes about friendship at the end of each chapter.)
